Terms and conditions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply between DigiDine (“we”, “us”) and the business using our service (“you”). Questions: [email protected].
The service
We provide a digital menu that your guests open by scanning a QR code, and a portal where you can edit your menu as often as you like and see how it's used. We set up your menu, tables and QR codes for you; contact us for more tables or changes to your business details.
Prices
Your plan and its price are the ones we agree with you in writing (for example by email) before billing starts. You can pay monthly or yearly. Your QR codes are included at no extra charge. We can change your plan by agreement with you; a new price applies from your next payment.
Payment
Billing starts on the date we agree with you. Any free period is agreed with you in writing, for example by email.
Card or Direct Debit (Stripe): you add your payment details on Stripe's secure page and aren't charged until billing starts; we'll tell you before it does. Payments then repeat automatically each month or year, and Stripe emails you a receipt. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again; if it still fails, your menu will be paused until payment is made.
Bank transfer: payment is due at the start of each month or year. If it isn't received, we may pause your menu until it is.
While a menu is paused, its QR codes show that the menu is unavailable. Once payment is made the same codes work again, with nothing to reprint.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Your menu stays live until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments already made aren't refunded.
Your account
Each business has one login. Keep your password private: you're responsible for changes made with your login. Only we can change the email address used to sign in.
Your menu content
You're responsible for the accuracy of everything on your menu, including prices, descriptions, and allergen and dietary information. Our service shows the information you provide; it doesn't check it. You must keep allergen information up to date and make sure your staff can answer allergy questions in person.
You confirm you have the right to use the photos and logos you give us, and you allow us to show them as part of your menu.
Menu data and statistics
We may combine menu and usage data from all businesses using the service, anonymised, to produce statistics and insights. We won't publish or sell information that identifies your business without your permission. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running at all times but can't promise it will never be interrupted. Please keep a printed or spoken fallback for your menu and allergen information.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
We're not liable for losses caused by the content of your menu, including incorrect prices, allergen or dietary information. We're not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect losses.
Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim.
Changes and ending the service
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any change to prices or to these terms that affects you. We may pause or end your menu if fees are unpaid or if your menu contains unlawful content. We may also end the service with at least 30 days' notice. When your account ends, your menu stops showing and your data is handled as described in our privacy notice.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
